STEP 5
Service Project (captain, conductor) All applicants for Captain, and Field Conductor should complete a service project proposal for the band program. Leadership is service. Applicants should identify something that needs done and do it. It doesn't have to be a big long involved project (although it can be). It should be useful and constructive. Mr. Martini WILL NOT give you ideas. He will provide info about YOUR idea, but do not ask "What can I do?" Show initiative. This can be a proposal, but it is expected that Captains will carryout their proposed project. The project could be something during the season. |
